•  from the direction of Koblenz, Ludwigshafen, Mainz, Frankfurt a.M (from the North and the East):

via motorway A 61 to the exit Bad Kreuznach, follow the B 41 in the direction of Idar-Oberstein/Bad Sobernheim to the exit Steinhardt, then follow the signs "Freilichtmuseum".

• from the direction of Saarbrücken, Kaiserslautern (from the South and the West):

via the motorway A 6, then via the B 270 and B 420 via the town of Meisenheim to Bad Sobernheim. From there follow the signs "Freilichtmuseum".


   

There is a parking lot for cars, coaches, motorbikes and bicycles at the open-air museum for free.

• As the overnight stay at the museum's parking lot is not allowed we recommend caravans to stay at the camping lot Am Nohfels nearby.
